Statues of guardian lions have traditionally stood in front of Chinese Imperial palaces, Imperial tombs, government offices, temples, and the homes of government officials and the wealthy, from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), and were believed to have powerful mythic protective benefits.

The martial artist that is Bigfoot...
29/04/16 23:08 Filed in: cryptids
messing around at lunch today and wanted to pose Bigfoot practicing aikido. Did a blue line rough in my sketchbook at lunch and then scanned it and cleaned it up in photoshop in the evening. Fixed a few anatomy issues, but it stayed pretty close to the feel of the rough. Sometime a drawing can lose the energy fit contained in the rough, but I was able to maintain the nice gesture and weight that i liked in the original sketch.
